Newsome’s Robert Hatfield to Run Leeds Marathon in Support of Happy Days UK

We’re incredibly proud to share that Robert Hatfield, a valued member of the Newsome team, will be taking on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on Sunday 11th May 2025, all in aid of HAPPY DAYS (UK) LIMITED — a charity that works to support people who are homeless or in crisis.

The marathon, part of Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All series, is a major fixture on the city’s sporting calendar, drawing thousands of runners to Leeds each year. For Robert, this is more than a personal challenge — it’s a way to raise awareness and vital funds for a cause that works to help individuals in crisis turn their lives around.

Happy Days UK is committed to empowering people affected by homelessness by helping them access the support, advice, and services they need to live independent and purposeful lives. From emergency support to long-term mentoring and housing guidance, the charity provides practical assistance and sustainable pathways forward.

As Robert takes on this 26.2-mile challenge, we’re rallying behind him and asking our wider Newsome community to do the same. Every donation will help make a tangible difference to someone facing extremely difficult circumstances.
