Over the weekend, our team was called to a major food processing facility in Carlisle, where the client was experiencing an ongoing leak from high-level chilled water pipework in the HR3 warehouse. The leak had begun dripping onto the walkway below and required urgent attention to prevent operational disruption.

Our engineers acted immediately, attending the site and carrying out a controlled isolation of the affected section of pipework. They safely depressurised the flow and return lines and captured the glycol from the system to ensure the repair could be completed cleanly and efficiently. Once access was established, the team repaired the leak at a high level and restored the system to normal operation.
